Some might see my blog and think.. Ehh, just another mom blogger. But as someone who deals with anxiety, trials, feeling overwhelmed, who’s a mom, a wife, and a believer in Christ I’m so much more than that. Hi, I’m Katherine. I’m from West Valley City, where the news enjoys telling stories of crime and affiliation with gangs. But to me its a place where I grew up playing night games in my backyard, where I had family all around me, where I struggled feeling confident in school and my looks. West Valley is where I made real genuine lasting friendships and where I gained a testimony of God. All of my growing up has made me who I am today, which sometimes I’m proud of, and other times I feel sick to my stomach.
I married my college crush in 2013 and I truly couldn’t have married a better man. We have two girls, Grace (almost 2) and Eliza (9 months) They are 14 months apart so you can imagine that my life can get a little crazy at times but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I am able to stay at home with my girls working a part time job from home. I also am an independent makeup artist for Maskcara makeup and am obsessed with helping others see how beautiful they are and make them feel more confident.
In my blogs I will be opening up about the struggles of life, how I muddle through my anxieties, through my weaknesses. I’ll be teaching makeup tips and sharing about products I love. I’ll be sharing how necessary my relationships are around me and how I meaningfully strive to be the best wife and momma I can be.
Starting a blog is something very foreign to me but I’m excited to get started and hopefully help those around me see that life is beautiful, life is hard but we can get through it together!
